No one in the Riviera Maya drinks tap water. Due to a very high content of iron and a parasite called an amoeba it would be not healthy to continuously consume the water. This is why we would like to include a free gallon of purified water. You don´t need to do anything it will just come included in any order you make. You should use purified water for all your cooking, drinking and sanitary needs. You are encouraged to purchase more if your resort or vacation rental does not have a purification system.
